1. What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account details you provide at sign-up: email address, optional username, optional avatar image.
• Content you post: submitted links, ratings, comments, and favorites.
• Hashed network identifiers used to prevent duplicate anonymous ratings. We do not store raw IP addresses.
• Payment metadata: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Full card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Product analytics: anonymous usage events collected by PostHog to help us understand what features are used.

2. How we use your information

We use this data to operate the service: authenticate you, display your contributions, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We share limited data with these service providers:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure.
• PostHog — anonymous product analytics.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to store session data. Analytics cookies are optional and can be declined. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Your choices

You can edit or delete your profile data from your profile page. You can request full account deletion by contacting us; we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention.

6. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting law. Deleted content may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently removed.

7. Children

This service is not directed at anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site.
