1. About the service

Goon Rate is a user-submitted review and rating directory. Members share links to third-party content and rate, discuss, and catalogue them. The service itself does not host media. All linked content is hosted by third parties and is the responsibility of those parties.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use this service. By using the site you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You may close your account at any time from your profile page.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to: (a) submit links to content that violates any applicable law, (b) submit links to content depicting minors or non-consenting parties, (c) harass, threaten, or impersonate other users, (d) attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms, (e) scrape or bulk-export user-generated content without permission.

We may remove content and terminate accounts that violate these rules at our sole discretion.

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of the comments, ratings, and metadata you submit. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content within the service. You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit.

6. Membership and payments

Paid membership is billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your profile page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled case-by-case for billing errors or service outages — email us before initiating a chargeback.

7. Third-party links

The service contains links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites. Visiting them is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the service or from content linked to from the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
